Uni has allowed me to realise how to gain a sense of fullness in life. There is a state of mind that I wish I cold be in all the time, and uni allows me to experiment with my lifestyle, habits, and behaviour to find the most realistic and practical way of being the happiest and best I can be, I don't know if its because your away in a new life, or because your living in a lovely house with interesting people, but the resultant effect is what I think people mean where they say university is magical.

Royal Holloway has had a great covid response and has hotlines for any won who needs help. The library is great and is always the perfect temperature :) . However one time I had a question about campus covid testing and went to a covid specific hotline but they didn't reply. Maybe I was using the wrong one, but really of it where wrong I shouldn't have known about it.

On the DDS list, I've been more than taken care of, I've had to do nothing to get some extra time, as my a level school gave that info to the uni. And DDS social clubs have been set up. I don't need that club, but its there for people who do. However when sighing up to get recourses like a working laptop, the amount of paper work was enormous. I didn't really need a laptop so I just dint bother with the forums, but if someone with a learning disability had to do that paper work, they could find it threatening or struggle.

The teachers where enthusiastic and have answered any unorthodox questions I've had, there online learning platform put everything in one place, and the homework timelines where very useful. There was a good enough mix of online and offline learning, even if the contact with tutor was limited, the teachers for all courses where available vai email, or available to schedule a teams meeting.

The Career service is well advertised, however I'm only in first year.
