To start with, I found out that I was twinned, as part of Southampton's way of trying to accommodate everyone that needed halls but although it wasn't great, I got along with my twin. Also, if you were twinned, you didn't pay any rent for the duration which was good but I was there for a long time. The application itself was simple, there was no interview and I got an offer quickly. There's also a good module selection and a range of choice of optional modules
