My best experiences from Lincoln come from its being in a beautiful and safe city with a pretty and well set out campus with good amenities. I especially enjoy the gym. However, I feel the university is struggling with funding and my worst experiences come from the swapping and changing of lecturers due to low funds.

I dont have too many contact hours and most of my lecturers have changed throughout my course as well as no longer having small personal tutoring groups. However, the modules are well thought out and I enjoy that it focuses more on coursework than exams.

I loved the social aspect and how safe the student halls felt. For example, a gate you needed a key fob to access the building. However, it was costly, and I couldn't afford to bring my car because of the expensive parking.

I absolutely love this university, the main city campus is so easy to walk to and the staff genuinely have a love and passion for the subjects they teach. The newer Ross library is clean and bright, but I find the ‘older’ library lacks somewhat with sticky desks, very uncomfortable and sometimes broken chairs, and just a less inviting vibe. The lecture theatres are great and have modern tech to record lectures and project sound. There’s also a great student union who are involved in student life, and the Estates and Sustainability team work really hard to improve the campus and make the green spaces enjoyable. The free campus linc to Riseholme is a great addition and it’s just a friendly, happy place to study.

My MSc in biodiversity was absolutely fantastic. The field trip to France taught me so much, as did all the modules I took. I am so sad it’s over! The course was mostly delivered in person but all lectures were recorded and the content was relevant, modern and interesting.
