Best aspect is definitely the lecturers/staff who work there. They are easy to reach and always ready to help with emerging issues. Even though academic, it is a very friendly environment. The lectures are interesting and informative, and during the course you can experiment with your photography practice by not just taking images, but video or making collages. It is a very supportive BA Photography course and is helping students prepare for life after graduation in their fields. Have not really experienced anything negative, maybe just the fact of having had to pay full tuition fee when we studied online.

First year was online, which was very difficult, did not have the first-year experience as previous and later students. Second year was blended-teaching, which was a bit easier to manage, easily could accommodate the needs of students/lecturers. Contacting staff is very easy, as they have online/office hours, as well as they reply to emails fairly quickly.

The town is quite historical and its closeness to the sea is definitely a perk. There are a few places to go out and have some good food and drinks, accommodating vegetarians and vegans as well. Rent prices could vary, but there can be chances of affordable options. Part-time work is not that hard to find, especially that the university can help with this too. The university bus makes commuting much easier and quicker. Most of the places offer student discounts, which can mean a lot if you want a good lunch deal. As for graduate employment opportunities, there might not be options for everyone, especially if you are in the creative field. It is a great place to live during your studies, but you might not find employment after that.
