The continued access to technical equipment relating to my course has been fantastic during my studies. Equally, the selection of books in the library is excellent, and the staff are always happy to answer any questions. The practicality of the campus could be improved by offering a campus shop, selling a range of food, such as snacks and meals etc. The shop that used to be open in the student hub was good, however is no longer in use. The cafes in the Media Factory and the new student centre are a nice place to sit to study, however the food seems to very quickly sell out, and there are often very few choices after 1pm.

Personally, I have found my course to be taught and delivered very well. The lectures are enthusiastic and inspiring to be around. They will go out of their way to offer one-to-one tutorials when needed.

It’s located in such a perfect area and conveniently so close to the town centre so even when you don’t want to do that food shop at Iceland, it’s not that far away! I also love the gym facilities and as someone who’s just completed her third day at the gym ever, the machines, weights etc are so easy to locate. Love how the gym is a little walk away from my accommodation (takes me 5-10 mins to get there) so then it makes me work to get there and make the workout so much more rewarding - pain walking back though after leg day. Honestly I wouldn’t change anything about my university because every facility etc that I’ve used has blown me away more than the last - only negative thing was move in day because there’s no lift in my accommodation and I’m on the top floor so it was a bit difficult to bring everything up but other than that I love it here!

The media factory is absolutely stunning and mind blowing with the studios and what they have to offer in there! The tutors are like siblings to me I could talk to them about anything and even have a little joke with them if I wanted to, very easy to get in contact with them too which is nice. When I saw the student huh my jaw dropped because I didn’t understand how many more cameras they had to offer as at my college it was very limited and the staff there are so welcoming and kind and I always have little jokes with them truly great conversations happen in there.

Only thing I don’t particularly like is the constant issues I have with a part of the door where you put the key in your room lock keeps falling off (but I don’t mind that) and the radiator in my room never working when I want it to. Other than that, really well allocated with my main building and laundrettes 2 minute walk away from me which is lovely.
