The best aspects of uni life at NTU are the people. Lecturers are both very knowledgable, but more importantly happy and keen to teach, it shows because this is the first university that has made me feel a part of its community. To this i can say a big thank you for engagements of course reps in bettering our community, lecturers, students who engage in the topics covered; surrealism etc. it is all very fun and interesting, we learn a bit of psychology as well which I find extremely fascinating. Everything course taught is absolutely brilliant, the support from staff is great, I appreciate every single one of the team staff. I am happy to be able to come out of my comfort zone in a safe environment, I feel more confident, and I'm just grateful for panopto which helps out a lot, as a dyslexic it has been really fun and easy thanks to good communication from lecturers of subject, as well as panopto videos, and presentations. the worst thing is not necessary bad, but for improvement I think It is worth mentioning that it would help to have more security around campus buildings, it gets a bit uncomfortable and creepy at the darker evening times such as in winter from about 5-6pm onwards to later times. It would be good to have security like that in place. The other thing I would really appreciate is for lecturers to actually stand in front of the mic when they teach lecturers, so the panopto recording is easily heard, as so far I had to turn my volume up at times and strain my ears to catch what the lecturers said. The best aspects of my course at NTU are the people. I enjoy and find the material taught; both theoretical and practical to be very engaging, and extremely interesting, I learnt to put my prejudice aside regarding photography, and learnt new ways of seeing photographs, and language used in semiotics. It is all very fascinating and I cannot wait for term 2 !! I loved all my classes; seminars, lecturers. Everything! Thank you!
