The cons: If you dont want to be a commerical photographer the is next to no suppourt from lecturing staff If you want to shoot analgoue you will have to pay out of your own pocket, which is very expensive. The london trips are a mixed bag, they will take you there via coach (which is 3 hours long) instead via train, because its "too expensive". They also wont take you too any paid exhbitions for the same reason. Teaching staff can be 50-50. Some are great, friendly, suppourtive and really push you. They tend to habe great reccomedations for your career and researcb Others are egotistical, narrow minded and frankley out of touch. Most teaching staff are part time, making it hard to get in contact with them However if you care even remotley about an academic presuit they tend to be of little help, with excpetion to a few of the team. Finally, not enough lessons are dedicated to fine art and painting, which is crazy as they want you to research broadly and the fact the course is a Bachelor Art degree Overall, the effort you put in is the reward you will reap. In this regard view the course as 3-4 years to expirement and taste art in you own way. Don't souly rellie on the lessons for help, but find the good eggs of the teaching staff and get them to gjve you advice.

Group crits are a complete waste of time, often becoming glorfied 1-1s with a crowd. Collabrations tend to be full of un-ethuastic attendors Guest lectures are qualtitive but rarely recorded. 1-1s are way to short and often to prpvide any meanigful feedback when you are studying at a 1st level Very rarely anything is done online, but when it is there is no oppertunity to have it inperson Lessons and lectures tend to drag, but are often full of inspiring ideas and content. The slides submitted to the VLE tend to be to vague to use
