My experience as a photography student has been great here, all the tutors and technicians are passionate and welcoming, and the facilities are really convenient. They're understanding of students' individual situations, for example when there are train strikes, they understand that there are students who live over an hour away, so they make the lesson accessible online so it's completely fair.

The course is incredibly organised. We have a calendar for the year online so we know what's being taught, where and by who. Also our lessons are available online afterwards, as well as voice recordings of lectures, with step by step instructions on what we need to do. Once again, they take into account students who live far away, as when we have one-to-one sessions with our tutors that are only around 15 minutes, they make it so we can choose whether to do it online or in person. The main thing I think they should improve on is emphasising how important it is that students download Outlook on their phones, as that's where they send us emails and important information, and most students don't see them because they haven't got it downloaded. Not the staffs fault, but I think it's important for them to mention it more.

London met is full of facilities, from a huge library to a cafeteria serving hot and cold food everyday. In the centre of London transport is easy and plenty of opportunities surrounding it, the library has such a wide collection of books with lots of study rooms too, everyone is so friendly so you never feel lost or lonely.

For me the highlight of my course has to be the staff and facilities, our course leader is just an all rounder star and he makes learning interesting and fun, another teacher is so passionate in the darkroom and you can tell that everyone who teaches on this course teaches because they want to not because they have too. The Location is in Aldgate which is in the centre of London which is perfect for day trips to Galleries and for going on photo shoots as a class task. The facilities are outstanding with black and white and colour darkrooms there really is no limitations. Overall this course is exactly what I dreamed of and it has helped me to thrive as a photographer learning new and better techniques which I couldn’t have done alone.
