The best part about being at this university is that many of the lecturers go the extra mile and always offer 1 to 1 tutors sessions. It helps you understand assignments and helps with overall university life. I’m not enjoying the commute to the university as the paid public bus is often late. One aspect the course could improve upon is more hands on photography. Many people in my class are visible learners so a more hands on approach would be more effective.

Overall the course is very well rounded. Teaching us about the past and the present of photography. The course gives you many options to explore in terms of genres and really encourages you to explore and experiment. The module professional development, in my opinion needs changing. Many people in photography will become freelances, I would like to see this module show how to start and run a business. Classes on how to reach out on a professional level, marketing your services and basic contract writing. These keys skills would be highly beneficial to many students.
