I personally found Carmarthen School of Art a very positive experience and friendly. The staff and students became my extended family for the 3 years. I found my tutors with my dissertation are very experienced, knowledgeable and approachable. I felt everyone became one family and made my learning and development an enjoyable experience. The skills and knowledge I obtained from the degree has provided me with the position of work immediately after the course, which I am grateful for.

Overall the course was excellent. A lot of assistance by tutors. Feedback regularly which helped me develop as a better photographer.

I absolutely love this college. The staff are so lovely and friendly, and are always willing to support and help students. The lecturers and staff of the photography department are fantastic. The one-to-one tutorials with lecturers are incredibly helpful for students, providing feedback and support on what works well in their work and what they could improve. I started the photography course with no knowledge of photography. As a result of the three years on the course, I have gained so much knowledge on photography that I could not have imagined having before starting the course. I have gained so much confidence as a result of being on the course due to the incredible support from the staff on the course. The staff are so encouraging when it comes to students and are passionate about their work. The staff has encouraged me to expand my creativity and, as a result, I have seen a drastic change between my work before the course and my work as a result of the course. It has been an absolute privilege studying at Carmarthen School of Art, and I will greatly missing being there. I would definitely recommend studying here to anyone passionate about art, especially photography.

At times the lecturers had to do classes online, which were really well done. This was handled very well by the lecturers and communication was great even though it was online. The communication online on the lecturers' part has been great, and they are very quick to respond to any emails. Question are always answered quickly and clearly. The course is taught with a few days in the school and a few days working at home, which I have found to be very helpful. This allows for work to be done independently from home and then reviewed once in college. Tutorials are done in person and are one-to-one which have proved to be vital for me whilst studying on the course. Feedback is also sometimes received from fellow students, which allows for different opinions to be heard and taken into consideration. These group feedback sessions also proved to be incredibly helpful for me and the development of my work.
