I've had a fantastic year and it doesn't feel like the year is over, COVID has restricted us in so many ways so its been a real challenge but I feel like I've had new experiences and trying to look on the brighter side of life, I've learned so much about myself I didn't even know as I've took the time to stop and think. I can't wait for the second year.

Our course is brand new so it took them 2 years to prepare where we are studying, brand new tech, studio equipment and a brand new darkroom for us to use, everything is spartacular.

I have had to have counciling because of a few problems, the counciling team is great and fabulous to work with.

My course before Christmas was taught in person with only one online lesson, it was great to start learning the studios and getting taught by professionals who have worked in the industry for over 10 years. I've learned so many new things, after Christmas, we went online and it was hard as we couldn't go into the darkroom as that is what we were learning in the new year, but 3 weeks before easter we were allowed back on campus and have been ever since. Online teaching was very hard since were supposed to have, hands on experience learning how to become professional photographers.

My overall experience from studying at Buckinghamshire New University has been amazing, the facilities that the photography department supply help everyone massively with the their work. These are even open on our days off to assist us with anything we require.
