Both the course that I’m doing (philosophy) and my social experience at Manchester have been amazing, there are so many people I’ve met particularly in my halls (oak house). Halls is definitely the way to go! The lectures, even though they’re long are interesting and the seminars are fun because you get to talk to people with the same interests as you. The prices in Manchester are also incredible, I’m from London so everything is really cheap in comparison to back home so your student loan goes a lot further.
