It was really fun year overall and I met really good people that I know will be friends for life. Living in halls was such an experience, was a bit annoying with the COVID restrictions but still really fun on the whole. In terms of first years it was never going to be the best with no clubs or events, but in terms of COVID experiences we definitely got the best. The course was interesting and they did a good job at handling it all being online, yet it was VERY expensive still for not the same experience

I did not use any facilities this year at all due to COVID

Got emails every other day about support and mental health advice etc

The teaching this year was pretty straight forward. It was all online and you do 6 modules in a term. Each module sets 1 or 2 hour videos a week which you watch in your own time and make notes on, they were interesting and easy to follow. Then later in the week you have a zoom call with your lecturer and other students to discuss this content. Sometimes you are also set reading and question comprehension to aid the discussions in the zoom calls.

Constantly getting emails with opportunities to learn about career advice and your tutor checks in with you each term to help with ideas about looking for a career path

Best bits are the location and the facilities on campus especially study and social areas, worst part of the university is the constant strike action that has effected my experience

Best part of the course is the content covered which interests me, worst part is the lack of support from my school and lack of communication about future careers
