Staff are kind and caring. Especially in my course, we are constantly reminded of where to go if we need help with anything. The library resources are amazing. Maybe some more individual study pods would be beneficial. There aren’t many negatives, only support for student who are not home UK student. Currently, if you are from Ireland (which I am), you cannot apply to grants or bursary’s. Thankfully there is a pharmacy specific one which has saved my life financially so I can put more focus on my studies, but I know a lot of Irish students really struggling for money as we also don’t qualify for the student maintenance loan.

Really happy with my course, the lecturers are all amazing. They put so much time and effort into all of our lectures and respond to any questions we have. The content is difficult but the online recordings and additional sample questions really help to make it more understandable. The only downside this year was the timing of exams in march for second years but I understand it had to be that way to fit in placement etc.

Location is the only downside, you feel quite far away from everything. But staff, rooms and kitchens were lovely.
