Generally student services are helpful and have a good selection of services. Student union have regular events and have shops and cafes on campus which are generally reasonably priced Library is too small and as a result is crowded during busy periods such as before exams. This isn't particularly easy to rectify however short of building a new library. The SEAts class registration system is a bit tempermental (does not always register correctly, unable to pick up signal etc.) and whilst I understand the idea behind it (preventing anyone not physically present from registering etc.) it discriminates against those who can't afford or do not want to own a smartphone. The YuJa system used to record lectures is very tempermental, meaning that audio is sometimes missing or it does not record at all.

Generally material is taught well and staff are enthusiastic and helpful. Post pandemic, my course seems to have reverted back to almost all teaching in person whereas I would have hoped to see some of it taught online where appropriate and a good balance struck between in person and online. Currently it seems that the decision whether to use online classes lies with the manager of the module or the lecturer teaching, whereas I would prefer to see them encouraged on a course/school level to use online teaching where appropriate as it allows both staff and students to manage their time more effectively especially with those to live further away from campus and therefore have to travel.
