I think the best aspect of studying at Chester is the city itself. It takes roughly 10 to 15 minutes to walk from the Exton Park campus into the centre of town. The city has everything a student needs from a high variety of shopping options, decent nightlife and good transport connections to Liverpool and Manchester. The Zoo is also a must when studying here.

The course is taught mostly in-person, with the rare exception being conducted over online-learning. Most of the time you'll be in a lecture theatre taking notes. You will also be required to do lab work in most modules. Lectures usually run for 2 hours at various points in the week

I lived on Parkgate Road in my first year. It was an 8 person house-share located directly outside of the Exton Park campus. It was really high value for money, the room I had was large and well looked after. The housemates I lived with have went on to be some of my closest friends. The facilities in the house (kitchen/toilet) were functional if a little undermaintained. However, the uni had cleaners that come to the house weekly and tidy these areas. The internet is the same one used on campus so you didn't lose coverage moving between the house and lessons.
