Excellent/amazing! Fantastic lifelong friends have been made, students have a great relationship with staff and peers. Great course too! I would recommend the course and uni to anyone interested.

There are sport facilities, student bar, student shop however more of these places need to be within our student campus so make life more convenient.

There is lots of support available to students: counselling, SLAS (student learning advisory service), student employability, dyslexia help, disability services.

The SU are really good. They are helpful, provide great service and opportunities to students.

The area surrounding the university can be quite dull. You have to travel out to go to busier areas where there are high street shops. You do have to look hard to find something interesting to. Not a very good city for social and nightlife.

I have joined the Get Crafty, Zumba, Volleyball and Christian Union society. They can be a good opportunity to do things with people but some societies do not do much in organising events.

There is more freedom in 2nd and 3rd year as you are able to choose options. Overall, the teaching is excellent and is really catered to the interests of students. Lectures are also quite hands-on and interactive which is a great way to really engage students.

Sport science is a degree that is very relevant to the current society we live in and is a very important aspect to many lives. Therefore, there will be more job prospects due to population health decline (due to obesity and disease).

Accommodation is not very good value. The facilities provided and the quality of the room is fairly good, the kitchen is also equipped with a kettle and microwave, but the price is still far too high for what we pay.
