I came from another country to study in England and I decided to study here- at Buckinghamshire New University. That was my first time coming to England so I did not feel confident enough to live in a big city alone. My campus in High Wycombe was a good option- the city is small, my campus has a good location and also my student accommodation (Brook Street Halls Of Residence) is only 6 minutes from my uni, which is really helpful, especially when I need to go to the library for the night to study or go to the editing room to edit my short films. Our Student Union is graded one of the best Student Unions in England. They provide us many atrractions, very interesting events, trips, beach cleanings and many many more- and most importantly- everything is for free. One of the aspects that I also love about my university is the fact that everyone find find something for themselves and something that they are interested in since our uni offers a lot of societies that people could be members of: starting from all kinds of sports, finishing with anime, Star Wars or pole dance society! Last but not least, when it comes to my course, I had a lot of opportunities, when it comes to the film industry - we had a lot of guests coming to have a chat with us or people that provided us a Stage Combat training, finishing it with a certificate. It's sad that I'm graduating this year, but I'm proud to be a BNU graduate.

As I've already mentioned in the section before, I had a lot of opportunities, such as Stage Combat courses or industry workshops- audition or mental health ones. When it comes to teaching, because of the pandemic and locksdowns, I had a chance to experience both online and in-class learning and I must say that everything was provided. Or even when there was an in-class lesson but you could not make it- there was a zoom link for you to join so you would not miss anything, which was really helpful. Also all the presentations/notes from the lesson are always uploaded on Blackboard, so we can look at them anytime.

When it comes to our uni's location and the general surroundings, I need to say that it's really good. It's in the centre of the town and it's close to everything and it's open 24/7 too so you can come in and leave uni whenever you want to! And High Wycombe is 30 mins away by train from London so it's a good solution for the people that don't want to live in a big city- whenever you have a day off you can take a train in the morning, be in London for the whole day and come back in the evening-it's really cool!

I like the location the most, it's in the centre and everything is close- a bus station is on the other side of the road, the mall is literally next to it and uni is 6 minutes away from it. The least thing that i like about uni's halls is the fact that it also might depend on the people you live with. You have a chance to meet new people since you live with other 9 people in the flat, but is might also be iritating sometimes, especially when they don't clean after themselves or are loud when you try to sleep or you need to focus on your uni work.

I am loving it, the course is good and the social life is great. The best part of the course is that it is largely practical and teachers are passionate about their subject
