Blended with online and face to face which can be nice but prefer face to face for retaining information. Excellent job opportunities with links to the hospital and working alongside and placements are amazing with good practice assessors and supervisors who have such a wealth of knowledge

The course is approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council, meaning graduates are eligible to register as children’s nurses, and the university is known for its supportive teaching environment and good graduate prospects.

One of the best aspects of my course is the strong emphasis on practical learning through clinical placements, which helps me build confidence and real-world skills when working with children and families. The teaching staff are supportive and knowledgeable, and the course prepares you well for registration as a children’s nurse. One of the more challenging aspects is balancing academic work with placement hours, which can be demanding at times, but it also helps develop good time-management and resilience.
