Uni is small so has a very community feel to it, youll always bump into someone you know you on campus, and you make friends with loads of people on different courses. Facilities arent as good as other unis for healthcare courses, but i still felt prepared when out on placement, so dont think this had a huge impact on my learning. Good access to support for mental health, finance issues, housing issues etc, and all well signposted. loads of societies and sports clubs to get involved.

all classes are in persons, and usually in 3 or 4 days a week. Most lecturers are really helpful and easy to get in contact with, some less so. Placement is done every other 2 weeks so constantly able to get experence on the road. Overall course is good, one or two lecturers are not as engaging and their modules less interesting but on the whole it’s worthwhile

i lived in a uni managed house 5 mins away from campus, house was in a good location, close to uni and shops, facilities at house were relativly poor and the uni was slow to respond to maintenance requests. Expereince if living with new people was really good, and still friends today.

best - the course and the lectures, the staff are really friendly and great at passing on knowledge and helping out when we are struggling. worst - it takes a long time to get disability meetings, i understand but maybe this is something which can be improved.

I think the course is perfect, I really enjoy it and wouldn’t change it.

Most - they are a good standard and are well looked after. they are all in good locations, close by each other. worst - the price is quite high, i know that for a lot of people there is a struggle to afford each rent payment and often people rely on their student finance just for rent leaving minimal money to live off for food.
