I wouldn’t change my course or my university. I feel extremely looked after and supported in my small cohort and when the pandemic is over I feel I could really make connections to people on my course. I’m really enjoying the practical side of the course but struggling with the online as it’s more distanced however I still feel included in decisions as we have regular course and faculty meetings.

The facilities over all seem really high tech and impressive however if the university could use a little bit of money to make the simulation dolls work again that would really enhance my learning. However the uni is very clean always impressively tidy and shared spaces are really welcoming.

My personal tutor is so lovely and despite only seeing me a few times has been really supportive. As we all know, the pandemic has been really hard but I feel with the well-being sessions put on by my school and tutor drop ins it’s really helped. I would like to know where to go if university opens up fully again but I guess that will be arranged when/ if it’s needed.

Despite COVID I think my lecturers and staff have been really proactive and understanding. I think that they have been doing the best they can as paramedics is quite a practical course. I definitely prefer face to face teaching over online because with 150 people in a call it’s hard to have time to ask questions. I’m proud of my university in allowing us and organising placement which has really boosted my confidence. However there is always room for improvement. My university could be attempting to get some extra skills sessions in preparation of exams, as well as them to be more organised as we still haven’t received our uniform which is starting to cause concern.

Being a student paramedic is really competitive. The course it’s self was extremely competitive however regarding employability, due to our placements when we graduate we are almost guaranteed a job, we also have other fields of paramedicine such as GP clinician or specialised paramedic which required alternative training

The environment is immediately very welcoming and allows you to feel free to express yourself and is very on top of allowing students to find where they belong and keeping them safe. Campus is over all clean and looks very smart but some of the facilities could be better maintained. Lecturers are open and welcoming and allow you to be personable and have a fun and efficient learning space

The teaching is mostly interactive and fun despite one particular previoys module where it seems they just read off the slides. Overall the lecturers are kind welcoming and overall very positive with enforcing expectations and ensuring everyone keeps up too them. Some of out facilities seem a little damaged but I belive maintainence is happening within the next few months

In the middle of two large shopping centers and surrounded by lots cultural environments. Very easy access to supermarkets as well as extra things to do with friends like cinemas bowling ect.

Overall staying in these halls has been a positive experience and I'm very glad I got a place here. The process to apply for a room was simple and efficient and paying rent is automatic and very easy to work around. However the maintenance team don't really solve some of the issues. For example in ny flat we have had broken hot water for some time and they haven't totally fixed it alike my shower door that was broken when I arrived still has nit been seen too. Other than this the staff are very kind and polite as well as other residents often building coexist without major distribution fir the most part
