I have really enjoyed my time at unuversity. Its been a great experience. Met a lot of nice people, felt very supported and have learnt a lot both academically and personally.

Job Prospects

How does your uni make efforts to increase your employability (careers department, work placements, transferable skills)?

We complete practice placements as a part of our course. There is a career department which you can access after you graduate. They encourage us to start and maintain a continuing professional development file.

Course and Lecturers

What do you like most and least about the way your course(s) are taught?

The lecturers are very friendly. The course offers a range of learning opportunities and the methods of learning are varied. You get to work with other studens on interprofessional modules.

Students' Union

What do you think of your Students' Union in terms of student representation and facilities?

The students union are really friendly and helpful. Theres lots to do and they are alwsyd trying new things.

Uni Facilities

How good are your university's facilities?

There is a gym on campus. The library has just had a refurb and is easy to use. The campus is small and easy to get around. The view offers good food and has a variety of options.

Local life

Is your university in a good location in terms of distance to accommodation and local amenities?

Lancaster is a lovely place. Great shops, markets and nightlife. Town is easy to get to and theres lots to do.

Societies and Sports

How would you rate the variety of societies/sports?

The clubs are great. There is something for everyone and everyone is welcoming.

Student Support

How good is the support offered by the uni? Think both academic (tutors/feedback) and personal (counselling, etc).

The support is amazing. The wellbeing counselling service is brilliant and so helpful. Library services are great. So helpful and welcoming. The tutors always reply to emails and offer a lot of support.
