The creative therapy facilities are fantastic. They have a building specifically for music therapy and dramatherapy, equipped with suitable materials, props and instruments. It is used for the sole purpose of these therapies and feels warm and welcoming. The whole university is well situated in the heart of Cambridge with lots to do and see in the surrounding areas. The SU has lots of extra curricular societies to join too so you'll never run out of options! Oh and the new eatery is amazing. So many food choices from around the world at competitive prices. Would highly recommend!

ARU music therapy and dramatherapy are a supportive bunch of creative people. Staff are extremely welcoming and maintain a comfortable environment for everyone involved both inside and outside of lectures. Everyone is assigned a personal tutor as a go to point of call outside classes. Staff are easy to get hold of and are always welcoming to questions and offer support and guidance. It is a full time course in terms of work load and placements etc but I have found myself in university only 2 or 3 days a week (2 days a week on campus when on placement for an additional 2 days - so 4 days max in 1st year). There are lots of additional readings, planning and reports etc and everything is explained on their online platform, canvas.

My course content is intellectually stimulating. My very poor scoor for accomoadation is because it is exoensive and theres no suport. Camb has good night life and restaurants. Theres a winde variety of clubs and societies and the SU has good reps for every faculty. I am working too hard to notice eye candy!
