It’s a small community and everyone knows everyone making it feel like home instantly. There isn’t much you can do to improve it, regarding student social life within the city there aren’t many places to go. But I suppose prospective students would need to take that into consideration when applying because that might appeal to them.

We have a had a few complaints about lecturers or the style in which they are teaching and not much has been done about it. Two modules that stood out regarding this matter was social psychology led by Katy Kennedy which almost everyone disliked the style of teaching and the support given, being little to none. The other module being organisation psychology led by Jacques Ding. There were of complaints about the information on the assessment as it was inconsistent. However, the good outweighs the bad. The style of teaching and lecturers in generally was brilliant. They went above and beyond to help us out ensuring we had the best support available.

Stockbridge was a little community which helped form alliances for the three years that I was there. There was always a friendly face in town or on campus which was lovely. You got to meet people who had different interests and open you up to a new view of life.
