I have never felt so supported by an institution than I have by the Student Support team in UoBath. Their responses are super quick and helpful and they are ready and willing to provide any help they can!

Lovely lecturers - super friendly and make the lectures enjoyable!!

Great cleaners who are so lovely and do a fabulous job every time! Rooms are rather small and not much storage.

I love the student support services, both academic and personal. I do think there could be better, more long-term mental health support because that is hard to access. The univeristy itself is well connected to the bus system and the campus is generally well maintained. There could be more check-ins in first year to see how you are getting on and a matching process to best-match people to live in student accomodation in first year (e.g. like matched on personality, similar interests etc) as I know other universities do that and it would probably help reduce the number of people who feel they don't get along with their flatmates, improving their student experience.

I like that practically all courses are taught online, bar a select few, the lecturers are generally super helpful and will answer any questions you may have. The psychology department is great but as an undergrad you barely spend any time in there as our lectures are generally elsewhere- it would be nice if this changed. The career help is good for placements and for finance, corporate etc careers but for psychology there could be tailored help or monthly advice newsletters on how to get into different areas in psychology, new psych-related grad schemes/jobs etc, especially because psychology-related jobs are hard to come by!

The showers were good, the rooms were too small for the high price we were paying, our social space (which is partly what we were paying so much for) was closed off for 3-4 months because of a broken ceiling which wasn't fixed for ages and we only got £50 or so back. The flat allocation was random and meant that I was with people I really didn't get on with, and I didn't realise moving flats was an option until it was too late for it to really make any sense, and I didn't get any help from the university for it. The door to the building was also continuously broken and wasn't ever really fixed properly. It was a convenient location though.
