Tell us about your overall university experience so far.

I'm very pleased to be here, its a new experience for me and I'm slowly adjusting but I intend to make use of all the facilities the university has to offer. I would say to anyone who wants to study at London Met University to please do so and follow your dreams. You dont know untill you try and I believe you will enjoy your time here.

Job Prospects

How does your uni make efforts to increase your employability (careers department, work placements, transferable skills)?

There are many opportunities and many people to help when looking for jobs or work experience. Students also have a great advantage due to met temp vacancies.

Course and Lecturers

What do you like most and least about the way your course(s) are taught?

I love the fact the lecturers are recorded so if you miss some information, you can access weblearn to watch the lecture again. Also, I do like when the lectures get us to do group work we learn more and interact with each other (think for ourselves). However, when lecturer is just reading off a screen this can cause lost of interest in class and information can be too over whelming.

What do you think of your Students' Union in terms of student representation and facilities?

I have not got involved yet because I have not made many friends yet, dont want to go alone lol. But i think its a great idea for students to get away and have someone to raise their concerns to if they have any.

Fast, fun and fabulous.

Societies and Sports

How would you rate the variety of societies/sports?

I have joined to uni mums i have not seen any events up coming yet. Still early days

Student Support

How good is the support offered by the uni? Think both academic (tutors/feedback) and personal (counselling, etc).

I am surprised with all the support you get at the university. You feel apart of something amazing and everyone wants you to win. The energy is positive and there any multiple people you can see for help and support, thats fantastic.
