The University has a beautiful campus which just enhances the experience of spending time spent on campus. The facilities belonging to the uni are better than could ever be hoped for as there is vast array of books, with the amount of books in the library, I don't think there is a missing book in the universe. And the gym provides all the equipment and classes you would need, a personal favourite is the swimming pool which even has a steam-room and sauna!!! As part of my course we get to experience learning in a classroom, a lab and also a kitchen and all three of these environment have been designed to promote learning and they make everything a nutrition student could want, very accessible. The university has many unique features such as the outside cinema!! Like I did not expect that when starting university. A factor that makes my life 100% more enjoyable while living on campus is the societies, especially the Christian union (Big shout out to the christian union). If there was any aspect I believe that could be improved in my uni experience is that the university doesn't have mental health check ins incorporated in the course. Speaking from my experience and also my friends, many courses have sensitive/ emotional content which is covered and no check in for the students follow. In my course, we learn about eating disorders and multiple people in the class have been open with struggling with eating problems and they could potentially find the content we are covering triggering.

My course this year has been all in person although is live streamed for people who can't make it in person. I believe that being back in person really adds to the university experience and makes learning much easier as it is easier to engage. However, last year we had lecturers recored and posted on blackboard and this was helpful when writing assignments as you could look back at previous lessons so having this facility again would improve my uni experience.

Ormskirk has everything you need to live, however, it doesn't have anything extra!! The food shops are good as there is a lidl, Aldi, Morrisons and a Marks and Spencers so a wide range of choices which will cater to any budget. However, there are no clothes shops. The train station is close to the uni which means that going to other places is made easy and to make it even more convenient, a free shuttle bus leaves the uni and takes you into town every 20 minutes.

The kitchen in Palatine is the best kitchen available in student accommodation it is so spacious and it is kept so clean. The rooms are good for storage and have everything you would need in a room. The wifi could be slow from the rooms but everything else was good.

The facilities of the university are very clean and beautiful, and the environment is very pleasant.

The tutors were very kind, they were very willing to listen to me and we had many counseling sessions!

Very cozy single rooms, with all the necessary measures I can think of, very well protected for privacy. Especially the private bathroom is very hygienic.
