I am a blended student so most of my uni experience has been from home. However I have still felt well supported by my tutors and when I have been on campus I have found it to be a welcoming place with everything I need

It is a good place to study in terms of the level of teaching, placement location, and success rate of achieving postgraduate employment. However, I feel there could be improvements in terms of the support systems in place to help students through adjusting to university life as well as throughout the degree (such as, approaching individuals with support more frequently, having more accessible tutors who are able to be there for your more often, and providing resources/funding options for those who are struggling or would benefit from additional support e.g., low income households). I feel it is a great benefit to provide options for work such as through the Student Ambassador schemes and would greatly appreciate more of these opportunities as personally, I have found it difficult to get a part time job alongside studying and attending placement.

I attend university full time and campus based. The course recently changed their policy regarding attendance and we now have to attend lectures face to face, withdrawing the option to Zoom in from home. I see the benefits of this, as it encourages students to participate in learning and get more from university. However, I feel it is sometimes frustrating when commuting to lectures only to follow slides that we have access to on our online platforms. Most lecturers provide great learning experiences and lectures though, and I really do enjoy engaging with my peers and listening to real-life experiences and stories shared by lecturers and guests that present to us students.
