One of the major issues is the slow response to maintenance requests. For instance, the main door was damaged for eight months before it was finally repaired. Additionally, the microwave in the kitchen has been faulty for a long time, despite complaints from my floor mates. I've tried to address these issues with the university, but they advised me to contact the landlord directly. However, I lack the confidence to do so. I feel frustrated and exploited, paying a high rent for subpar accommodation. I've spoken to other students who pay lower rents for similar accommodations, which adds to my frustration. I'm hoping to find a solution to this issue, possibly by negotiating a rent reduction or exploring alternative accommodation options."
