The university has a great sense of community, and is extremely diverse. There are lots of people from different ages, genders, ethnicities, nationalities and religions - all walks of life really. The staff are really accomodating and care about the well being of students. We have great support systems and people we can go to for help regarding anything really. The lecturers are really passionate about their subjects and it shows. The lecturers explain things in detail and dont mind going over it more than once, which is really helpful! The facilities are great and create a good sense of LSBU community.

I love my course! Studying adult nursing, some modules like biosciences or assessing needs can be quite information heavy and difficult to get your head around aa there is so much to learn, but having such great lecturers, its easy to tackle problems like that! The blended learning is great, i have a mix of lectures and clinical skills sessions, which allow you to solidate your learning and practice in the simulation rooms, which helps you become more confident in your abilities in the practical work and prepare you for placements. Course hours are fair, i have a few days off which allow me to do my individual blended learning and go over notes i made in lectures.
