The uni itself has a very modern feel to it, it also has a fantastic library where there is always spaces to access all of the books/ computers. There is also a 'state of the art' simulation wards, which are amazing for learning and building up my experiences in clinical situations. I feel that the uni could be improved by having additional car parking spaces for students, also additional range of food outlets would be a benefit due to the current limited supply. As a whole I would definitely recommend this uni for aspiring students as the support from lectures is second to none.

In respect to my course, it is delivered through blended learning. I am expected to use directed study days to work through work set by lecturers, as well as 2 face to face learning days and 1 self study day a week. On the self study day i can chose which i would like to revisit to enable me the time to further my knowledge on area i feel that i need to improve. There is always an opportunity to approach lecturers and they are very flexible as to when you need additional support.

Where the uni s located, there is a town centre nearby and access to a free shuttle bus that take students to and from locations around Ormskirk. The only downfall is that there is only 1 road to and from the campus, this means the traffic can become awful at peak times.

The support from the lectures is wonderful, always there for the students. The university is a beautiful place to be in. The catalyst building is open 24/7 for the students which is great especially during the assignments weeks. Overall facilities available in the University the hub, the cafe, canteen everything is great. However, the only problem is the parking space. Even through there is a huge parking in the university getting a space without being late for the 9:00 AM lecture can sometimes be impossible.

The support from the lecturers was wonderful, very supportive especially during the time of pandemic. Even through the online lecture the lectures, tutor tried to provide full support from their side. All the modules which were included has really helped to build an understanding about nursing and will acutally be used in the practise. However, sometimes the placements offered to the students were really far and students were expected to travel far. Would be really helpful if students would be provided with choices of the hospitals and the actual ward they are interested to do the placements on.

The university is a beautiful place to be in, the lake, the buildings are wonderful. Ormskrik is a small, nice town with friendly people. Lots of part time job opportunities for students in supermarkets and bars. Great night life not very far as well from Liverpool.

The university halls were great. Room was perfect size, for one person loved the little desk in the room. However the rooms would get really hot in the summer and could open only the small window even thought the size of the window were massive.
