It is hard work to learn large amounts of information and to juggle large quantities of work under the pressure of grades and the expectations that you are held to, however, that is why one comes to university. Student life is also very active with a large variety of events run every week .

There are career fairs run every month to provide us with an idea of what there is out there for us, the SRC, runs many different types of volunteering to help us gain transferable skills. Our lecturers also inform us on the current research that is being carried out and what kind of opportunities will be available to us as we advance through our degree.

I like the most that it is carried out by prominent researchers in the field and that all of our lectures are filmed and made available to us through our moodle site, it is unvaluable to be able to go over past lectures when refreshing your memory whilst doing a bit of revision. I like the least that our Biology labs expect us to have a full understanding on how microscopes function, but I am sure it is a skill that I will be able to fully develop whilst here.

It is very active and bubbly, we don't have one but four that provides a large variety of events and places to go to engage socially.

It is a nice student village, at times it gets a bit loud with parties roaring all around, but I have a nice group of flatmates (even if we can never keep the kitchen clean between 12 of us!)

Everything is excellent, not only the lecture facilities, but also the places to relax whilst waiting for your next lecture. There is a large amount of places to get food at affordable student prices (and student discounts available all across the campus).

It is very active and yet safe, there are many different cultural activities to take part in as well open spaces. Traveling to neighboring cities or to the coast is extremely easy and affordable also, making weekend away trips fairly easy (with short traveling times).

There are a large variety, allowing one to get involved in any interest they may have or explore new hobbies. Events are carried out regularly by most of them and they tend to be open to non-members.

There is a large variety of supporting bodies within the university, some are even carried out by the student body such as a night-line service. Counseling is available, as well as extra academic help which include drop-in sessions, lectures on study skills, one to one help with maths... Tutors are fantastic and will answer any questions that you may have as well as emails and a student forum being available for any queries.

It's been amazing and everyone has been super helpful whenever I've needed anything. The staff have always been there to talk to, and the lectures have been really helpful with missing lectures due to injury and accommodating that. I've settled in quickly as a result and now feel happy and confident here.

There's careers service, with drop in sessions and they give regular lectures about updating CVs and applying for summer placements which is really helpful. They also provide us with websites to look at and join to help increase our employability too.

I really like the exercises and access to peer wise questions as I find them really helpfu to answer and create.

They're both amazing, there's always something on and they have loads of societies to join which keeps me busy and helped me meet people during the first few weeks.

It's super fun living with similar people from all over the world. The rooms are big enough, and it's nice to have a bathtub in the flat. The kitchen gets a bit crowded if there's 12 people in it at the same time though. Everyone's super friendly and all the staff are really helpful, especially when there's an issue. Everything is always sorted out quickly too.

They're really good, they have specialist equipment when required and have amazing lecture theatres as well as the library.

The city is really vibrant and there's always something happening if you head in, which is nice. Byres road is also always busy which is nice because you get to see other people enjoying their day too

They're really interactive and always have stuff happening which is nice, and they're not very expensive to join which means you can join lots of them and do a variety of things you haven't done before

It's really easy to get in contact with someone, as they all answer their emails quickly and there are other ways of communicating with them. The feedback system is great as everything is all in one place online so it's easy to find too.
