University provides a nice variety for different types of people. Open spaces where you can work together, quiet spaces for working alone, and as postgraduate a password protected room to able to work at the same place. Building is a bit confusing at the beginning where levels don’t hold together with main and north/south building, but eventually you get your head around that.
As mature student I see less of the student life and more as work, being situated close to a motorway with proper parking as well as a somewhat close to main train station is very practical.

Courses are great due to the fact you have lecturers speaking about their niche, which brings forward their enthusiasm and breadth of knowledge. One of the reasons I picked this degree is learning practical skills in brain measuring, which brings some great additional information for those that want to learn more than required. I am also enjoying my dissertation course, as I am given the freedom that seems more realistic to what is expected beyond this MSc.
My only comment against this degree is the disruption caused by teacher strikes and the inadvertently affect on organisation.

It is great because it is so inclusive, everyone feels safe and the teaching is great as well as all the facilities we receive. The location is in the city which saves me lots of travel costs and also the staff is friendly and there are a lot of activities organised by students and the university which is a great opportunity for new and prospective to take part in and get to know peers and make friends easily.

Lectures are amazing, they teach my course really well and also if I have questions they always reply back to me really quickly. They are friendly and resourceful. They definitely know what they are teaching and make us students enjoy the course better.

What do you think about the safety, condition, location and cost of your accommodation?
They are great because it is on campus and also in the centre of Birmingham. Moreover, there are great facilities and many things are fixed when we ask for repair. However, I wish there were more members of staff as I don't think there is enough staff to manage so many halls which is why waiting times for replacement or repair is longer.
