It is just a really relaxing uni because of how small the campus is so it's hard to get lost. The only improvement I'd say it would be beneficial to make is to have more events happening around the campus as sometimes it feels a little empty.

The lecturers are really friendly and are always as clear as they can be when giving a lecture. I think an improvement they could make is make us have study sessions either every week or every 2 weeks as I sometimes feel me and others lack the motivation to study properly and if it was timetabled it would help us learn.

I love that you're guaranteed am ensuite room and that the rooms are a decent size. Plus the accommodation is near the university. My only issue is that it doesn't take 2nd years at least.

Ive been loving my experience in York so far. I’m not a very into going out clubbing or anything but I know York has a good balance between that kind of social life. York St John has helped me a lot in my career with the BBC events they usually have and also the open mic nights are also a good opportunity for artists to have a little fun. Overall I’m very happy with how my uni life is going so far.

I think it would be important to have more work experience, especially in the Music Industry, which is very difficult to get yourself into.
