Course has given me many opportunities to gain experience and has loads of industry connections and alumni. The course itself is more focused on the science aspect and is more in depth when it comes to coding and electronics than I expected but these things are important to know. Lecturers all have industry experience and update the course to help address issues and keep employability, which is a very big focus. Links to the conservatoire are also very useful.

12 hours a week is enough, however this does 100% need more your own time as well. Especially on the portfolio modules.

Room was nice and wasn't too expensive. Location was a bit out of the way and my flatmates were not great.

BCU has a great campus and facilities but there could be more support for students facing difficulties like bullying.

Sound Engineering is an excellent course with a good amount of contact hours and individual hours in studios and labs
