SOAS is fantastic for housing progressive academic departments, many of which are uniquely strong in the UK and internationally. The administration makes it such that students face logistical issues nearly constantly.

The best aspects are deep and engaged expertise and pedagogy. I wish there was better facilitation in the classroom, particularly during seminar discussions, and in the student cohort as a whole.

SOAS has inspiring lecturers who have done interesting research. The accommodation treats you like a teenager. I'm founder of the Quechua society and the student union is very active. SOAS has become my home.
