The environment is really inclusive, as a visually impaired student I have found that there is usually a large number of challenges that I face within the education environment. However, at CCCU I have had some excellent support from both staff members and my peers. There has been lots of things put into place to accommodate my needs and they have all been put into place relatively quickly. It is also quite easy to navigate around campus, but I do sometimes find that the bollards are placed awkwardly in the middle of pathways.

Over a week we have around nine to ten contact hours. These include spending time with lecturers and using our state of the art equipment. There is a lot of work that can be done outside of lectures and this means that we are able to go into university and spend some time working on our own things too.

I have found that my room is quite large and there is an ensuite. The room itself is really nice and the shared kitchen is a really good size too.
