Point Blank is a great uni! It doesn’t have a campus or a lot of communal areas but the students find a way to make it work. Every single student I’ve met at PB have been decent individuals. Everyone support’s everyone and is so friendly. I’ve been to bigger uni’s in the past which were very cliquey but PB is the opposite. Inclusivity is a big thing here and I appreciate the student union’s efforts. There are times where it can be a bit too woke.

All the lecturers I’ve had have been successful industry professionals who are truly passionate about what they teach and it’s truly contagious. It makes me excited to come in and learn. Assignments and lectures run at the same time, so it can be difficult to balance learning and getting your assignments in at the end of term. They’ve improved that a little since I’ve started with the addition of midterm hand-ins. Overall, I didn’t regret my decision one bit. Not only am I learning how to make music, I’m learning how to function in the music industry. Not from books but from people who have actually experienced it. My eyes have been opened to possibilities beyond what I initially thought I wanted to do.
