There is a lot of free time to do work at home and out of class, however that may be a struggle to some students. Fortunately for those who do struggle with independent learning, there are support systems within the school that can help with that. The library is a great feature of the university as well as there is such a wide range of books there for students to use and borrowing/ returning is very easy to do.

The course is very independent learning based and we don't get that much class time, however if there are any concerns we are able to contact our tutors and course leaders very easily. All of the study materials are online for us to view and look over. There are a lot of projects stacked together and so my only concern is being able to keep track of them all as not every project is reminded and acknowledged during class time.

The overall vibe of the university is very modern, and I’ve found everyone seems to express their sense of individuality through fashion also which is very pleasing. The facilities are incredible and closely put together making them all easy to access, especially from halls. One improvement I’d say is, the library could use a slight upgrade in terms of its content and genres, Maybe integrate more fantasy and fictional books, even manga.

The best aspect of my course is the variety of ways in which we are taught. Whether that be through workshops, lectures or seminars. Each class has its own specific area, allowing us to have a bit of diversity despite still learning about one course. It’s a freedom I wasn’t expecting coming from studying 3+ courses at a time during a level to just 1. There aren’t any bad aspects particularly, other than the fact that the workload can get get pretty heavy pretty fast. Which is why it’s important to prioritise time management and use our independent hours of study wisely.

The thing I like the most about halls is the socialising aspect that comes with it. I’ve made some of my closest friends in my flat, just out of the proximity and having to get to know eachother. Its definitely good for people who want to come out of their bubble a little bit. Some things that aren’t so good, I feel as though your taking quite a gamble of what could go wrong in your accommodation, for some it may be the kitchen is faulty, or their shower is faulty etc. So it’s definitely a little gamble moving in.
