The campus is beautiful, it is great to relax on the green in the summer times. Facilties would be great if they allowed everyone to use them - I'm on a joint honours art and computing course however the art department doesn't allow us to use any of the art facilities. They are too overly precious with who is allowed to use them that it feels exclusionary and limits what we can actually do on our degree. We have challenged this many times however we always get the same response that it is merely the way our course was structured, with no thought as to questioning why it is structured that way or if it could be possibly changed.

Course leader is wonderful, and will answer any and all questions you may have. The facilities is an interesting one - the computing department facilities don't have any faults however the art department does not allow you to use any of their facilities, despite it being a joint honours degree. We get no studio spaces or access to the art practice areas; the only element of the art department given on this joint honours course is one art module called critical studies, and even then there is no teaching of digital art nor is this in an artistic environment, they are just held in random seminar rooms. Critical studies is a class for fine art students and DAC students however most of the time the tutors forget there is anyone other than fine art students in the classes and make references to APAs / studios as if everyone in the class has access to these. It begins to feel rather isolating after three years of this. Again, cannot fault the computing department's commitment to this course however it does not seem like both departments are as interested.

Mental health services were not great, and did not respond to urgent situations. Had a separeate ongoing mental health situation in our flat which lasted several months, which we got lackluster help with. This became a very scary, stressful situation and they were still extremely unhelpful even after having to get help from medical professionals.

Great support from tutors and course leaders. Library has been particularly resourceful. Access to art department facilities should be more open.

In person contact time is useful. Shame about first year being completely online as that contact was missed
