Both the staff and students are all very friendly, if you ever need help with something there is always someone willing to do so. The university even though not in the best area still provides all the resources support and equipment to give you the essential skills required to set you up with your future career path.

My course is mainly in class lessons or workshop lessons. They are alway taught with full support in mind and if you don’t understand a certain aspect of a subject then it is always explained and elaborated in a different way to help you understand, whether the tutor personally speaks and explains it better to you or works it out what you don’t understand. All together you can rest assured you won’t fall behind if you attend each lesson and put in the work.

The best part of the uni is the NCME and all the different workshops that allow us to get hands on experience rather than just learning the theory. There is also great links with leading motorsport names that allow us to visit and learn at their workshops and factories.

The classes are all on campus with a mix of theory and practical and these mix from group and independent studies. There is also plenty of opportunities to help out in the workshops.
