I love how diverse the city is and how much there is to do and the transport links via the train mean its easy to get to different places in the Midlands and even London. I also like how many different study and social spaces there are on campus, there's a different vibe for everyone.

I like how much support there is from the lecturers in the forms of practicals, workshops and tutorials, but in the first semester I wasn't a fan of how many assignments we had all at once, as I prefer a sparse spread through the term and then end-of-module assessments as it allows me to not get overwhelmed but this semester it's exactly like that so I am enjoying it.

Definitely recommend it for prospective first years, its a lovely environment as everyone's in the same boat as you, and the different events held allow everyone to socialise and make friends, the Oadby village is also so safe and away from the city so it gives a sense of peace and calm whilst having the social aspect of everyone living super close to each other and getting along! The university bus also makes it easier to get to the university for lectures and the city if needed.

I like the O2 academy. Lots of effort has been put into my course, but the lecturers reuse old lecture materials and we don't get to choose modules. I think that Leicester uni has the best accommodation. It's close to everything and there are good bus routes. Beaumount Halls is also close to Asda. The gym and library have been refurbished quite recently, so it looks nice and new. There are lots of societies and clubs to chose from. The careers development is quite good. It has a wide range of staff and they take your needs into consideration. Uni Temp is flexible. I would recommend this uni because it has a good ranking (top 20). When you are writing your personal statement use your initiative and make you say why you like the course. But don't use the word passionate. I think its good to stand out.
