Best: the active student life Worst: a bit far from everything

Sometimes teachers don't acknowledge that exchange students would benefit from them speaking a bit more slowly and distinctly because English is not our native language

It's amazing, we even have a real café in the FAB I mean what more could we possibly ask for

The best part of my uni experience has definitely been the incredible facilities and the diversity of the student body. Warwick offers so many great resources, from study spaces and libraries to sports facilities and career support, making it easy to explore different interests and stay engaged. I also love how international and diverse the student community is—meeting people from all over the world with different backgrounds and perspectives has been such a valuable part of my experience. There is not much bad things to say about Warwick. But, I’d say one challenge is that Warwick’s campus can sometimes feel a bit isolated, especially compared to a city university. While there’s a strong campus community, it can take extra effort to get out and explore beyond it.

The best part of my course is definitely the support from tutors—they’re always available to discuss not just academic matters like assignments or lecture content but also general wellbeing, which makes a real difference. Having that kind of support creates a really positive learning environment. The facilities for students are also excellent, whether it’s study spaces, language resources, or access to materials that help deepen our understanding of the subject. On the downside, one thing I’ve found frustrating is the lack of flexibility in taking modules outside my department. I was really hoping to branch out and explore other subjects this year, but the restrictions have made that quite difficult. It would have been great to have more freedom to shape my degree in a way that reflects my broader academic interests.

My uni halls were a great experience overall. The facilities were excellent—there was plenty of kitchen space, the rooms were spacious, and the bathrooms were really nice, which made living there super comfortable. The location was also a huge plus, being so close to central campus and near supermarkets, which made everyday life really convenient. Honestly, there weren’t many downsides! If I had to pick something, maybe just the usual occasional noise or having to coordinate shared spaces with flatmates, but overall, it was a really positive experience.
