BEST- Chester is a relatively safe city, has something for everyone and has a positive atmosphere. The university offers a wide range of courses and the student to staff ratio is great! The staff are well equipped to teach and care about their students, academically and in a pastoral way. WORST- The main campus isn't very large so sometimes feels cramped with lots of students. Parking is limited on and around campus too.

First year was a blend of online and in person due to the pandemic. Teachers adapted quickly. Lecturer tutorial hours aren't always the largest range but many members of staff are willing to fit you in around this.

The location is beautiful, and there is such a nice atmosphere of the city centre and the cathedral. The teaching quality is exceptional and there is amazing food on campus and facilities such as the Student Union, the Help desks and the accommodation teams. However, I feel like there could be more support with mental health and support with the student support programme schemes on a more social side.

Fascinating course, always something new to learn, new career opportunities and great new ways to research the subject I love :) New chances to gain opportunities and there is always constant support from lecturers for managing to provide new ways to learn

Very comfortable rooms, nice desk and useful space for kitchen and bathroom facilities. However, the rooms can sometimes be susceptible to some damage such as clogged drains, cracked mirrors, stains, or creaky door hinges. Overall though, a great quality for the price the rooms and accommodation are offered for!
