Teaching is consistent with lectures and seminars every week, with readings provided online to do from the comfort of wherever you choose to study. There are 24/7 libraries and plenty of different places you can go to study, with bookable rooms. The university is centrally located so it's easy to between halls, student accommodations, city centre, and the university. The Centre For Student Life building has staff to support you in any way you need, and your personal tutor means that there's always somewhere you can go. The University facilitated me to volunteer abroad and funded this opportunity so I'd fully recommend taking advantage of all the opportunities offered to you! Finally, the SU is incredible with so many societies and sports clubs that you can take advantage of a new interest, or further an old one. I've taken up several and am making the most of it all! The only major improvements that should be made involve general refurbishment of non-Stem buildings to bring them in line so that non-STEM students feel as valued!

The course is taught largely synchronously, with different teaching across different modules. This includes seminars, plenary sessions, workshops, and lectures. In some places lectures are prerecorded to enable all contact time to be interactive, which works well. In most places lectures are delivered in person, with readings to do before seminars to enable better discussions. The contact hours range between 8-12 hours a week

Good value for money, brilliant student location surrounded by most of the other freshers. Had a safe feel, close to shops, pubs, university and a 20 minute walk from the city centre.
