The best part of my university experience is the biology department. All of the staff and academics are fantastic and always go above and beyond to help. The community at university is great and offers a lot of opportunities in terms of jobs, societies and events.

This course offers different ways of learnings. It can consist of labs, seminars and lectures. some modules will have screencasts and then a discussion in class, whilst some modules will be taught in-person. Microbiology has a lot of options in terms of what you can choose to pick for modules. However for improvements, it would be great to have more microbiology modules in first year as it was very similar to biomedical sciences which I was not interested in.

I have lived in three different halls. from my favourite to least favourite : Sheffield halls, Mackinder halls, Benyon. Each accommodation has something I like and dislike. Sheffield was worth the money in my opinion, it was close to campus, and you got the option of being close to town. Furthermore, the reception and laundry room was exclusive to this hall which I liked. Mackinder halls is great for the location as it is on campus, however, the room is tiny compared to Sheffield so it is hard to do workouts. Both accommodations offer study rooms which is nice. Sheffield has two ovens which is very convenient. w are also lucky to have cleaning staff that come to out kitchen weekly which not many other universities offer.
