The best part of my university experience is the amount of support available to students when unsure of any questions. One of the reasons Huddersfield University is a great place to study is its reputation for jobs in Mental Health Nursing; the employment percentage is quite high, which is always reassuring as a student nurse. Another reason why the University of Huddersfield is a lovely place to study is because Huddersfield University was the only university in West Yorkshire that offered the blended learning route. In terms of improvements, I think perhaps there could be more moral support whilst on placement for students, maybe leads and members of staff checking up on students to make sure things are being met in terms of the proficiencies...I think it would be very reassuring for students to have more of this. The university as a whole has been great but I just feel there are one or two areas which could be improved to a certain degree.

The blended learning route is ideal for students who have other commitments such as work or children. It works really well. Being at home most of the time really does help. An area to improve could be more online sessions on specific topics, like essay/assignment writing.

Needs more on-campus teaching.
