Positives- the university has a lot of space where you can wonder around, the area is decent and clean, modern buildings, it is nice that there is a green area with a lake, really relaxing, the fact that there is student union and you can also hang around there , prayer room for Muslims shows that they are being considerate about different religions and needs, nice environment overall, the signs sometimes are a bit confusing when going from building to building is not so clear on the map but overall is good. Negatives- university support system needs to be improved, support is really poor when facing a difficulty in placements or with university work, it is good that they have extensions but most time no support is offered when requiring other things or facing other issues, it takes time especially if you are complaining about university being disorganised and changing things for you last minute, ni help can be offered. sometimes university is till disorganised about certain issues, and always last minute changes are made which are not convenient.

Lecturers are really nice and available all the time, if facing an issue they reply to emails and help you, classes sometimes are changes and not sure what room it has been changed to however overall it is a good course with good support. this is about in class not done blended learning. placements can be messy for some people in my group as a lot of people get really far placements and struggle with transportation, otherwise all good.

it is nice, new modern building no complaints, which was easier if they changed classes allocation last minute.

The best part of my university experience is the amount of support available to students when unsure of any questions. One of the reasons Huddersfield University is a great place to study is its reputation for jobs in Mental Health Nursing; the employment percentage is quite high, which is always reassuring as a student nurse. Another reason why the University of Huddersfield is a lovely place to study is because Huddersfield University was the only university in West Yorkshire that offered the blended learning route. In terms of improvements, I think perhaps there could be more moral support whilst on placement for students, maybe leads and members of staff checking up on students to make sure things are being met in terms of the proficiencies...I think it would be very reassuring for students to have more of this. The university as a whole has been great but I just feel there are one or two areas which could be improved to a certain degree.

The blended learning route is ideal for students who have other commitments such as work or children. It works really well. Being at home most of the time really does help. An area to improve could be more online sessions on specific topics, like essay/assignment writing.
