Lovely campus with nice sitting and garden areas. Lots of facilities and shops/restaurants. Good library services. Nearby local town, quick 5 minute walk. Lots of variety for food/drinks around campus. Although, some buildings are very traditional and may need some updating, such as hawthorn.

Some buildings for the nursing courses need updating, such as hawthorn and some of the rooms. Although considering it’s an old traditional building, it’s in the quite good condition. I feel I have had little contact with my personal tutor over the three years. I was under the impression we would have regular contact with our tutors throughout the course to ensure we’re progressing well. I have had 2 personal tutor sessions in my entire three years. However, I know some of my peers have had periods of struggle and my their personal tutors, including mine, have been extremely supportive and helpful. I feel placements are well suited, however I feel some may need revisiting as to whether they’re appropriate for completing proficiencies. Furthermore, majority of lecturers are good and do well at teaching, however some are not as enthusiastic and only read from PowerPoints, which I do not find beneficial. The teaching quality and material is usually good and as should be, however in large group teaching, there is never really much focus on MH nursing, and usually only focuses on adult and children which is not providing a variety of learning examples.

Students are well supported. Education 2030 is great.

Course is taught in class and very interactive. Lecturers are supportive and approachable. Course content readily available.
