I've spoken to a lot of friends from college about their uni's and none of them seem to say what I'm thinking. USW has helped me into becoming what I am and I'm thankful for it, I've gained loads of experience and my confidence has soared.

My best has been exploring new places and meeting so many people from a variety of different backgrounds. University of south wales has so many opportunities and my course has many placements and other opportunities which are amazing and unique. It is differently different to all other universities as it has campuses in a myriad of diverse areas… the city, the valleys and smaller towns. My worst experience would have to be living in university halls. Having to “adult” and do things all my myself (though the staff here are so helpful) is definitely not easy. Managing your time and trying to find a balance is a key things I’m learning. Overall I think it is going to make me a stronger person mentally and physically (we live on a huge hill, which is despised by students). Honestly I can’t even say anything to improve as they put in so much effort to make our experience great. Though I feel the university needs to be more selective about who they let in as some groups of people I’ve met tend to be very rude and unkind to many

My course is mostly in person and we do a lot of practical learning such as anatomy workshops and laboratory work. I have enjoyed the lecturers and the way they teach and give help you if you need it. We have clinical skills too which is very beneficial as it helps us see what is actually done and expected in the career area. The classes are also smaller in size and it feels like you are seen as an individual, not just a number. The only thing I have struggled with is the timings of lectures. They constantly change and the calendar is not very reliable. It was introduced this year and needs work. The only thing I would

It is peaceful in the valleys campus, lively in a Cardiff and Newport campuses. There is something for everyone.

I like the resident life program they have in place. The have so many fun and helpful events to attend. Some free and some at a low price. For example we went to Thorpe park last year and WinterWonderland, it was fantastic. They are also so helpful and are always willing to listen and help you find solutions. I am not a fan of circuit laundry like many students as it is expensive and I feel they could find alternatives is possible.
