The uni has so much support and is an uplifting community and that if something is not right there is always someone to talk to.

All the lectures on the courses are very friendly and always welcoming when talking with them and they make the lectures enjoyable with different activities.

The uni halls have so much storage and sunlight in the rooms which lights up the room and make it feel more spacious.

The university has an excellent track record in health and social care degrees. It also has great facilities for anything related to the sports sciences. It has a closely-knit community which can be lacking in some of the larger universities. The Cheltenham campuses are in a lovely town that has something for everyone. The other campus is in Gloucester which I do not rate highly as a city but Cheltenham is very close. The staff and lecturers are very supportive and there are teams to give you academic guidance.

The course is well-balanced with the right mix of anatomy and physiology, physics, radiography skills and personal development. The physics has a more practical application as opposed to being overly mathematical. All learning materials are accessible online after the lectures. The course is pretty full-on with two days of lectures, two days of placement and a self-study day every week. There is a lot of reading required outside of lectures especially for the anatomy and physiology. Having said that, the lecturers are regularly available for one-to-ones and you will get ample time to get assignments done and to study. There is a newly built x-ray suite to practice scenarios so you can puts skills into practice on placement.
